Fierce Grace
We are graceful and we are ferocious. Durga is the most powerful goddess in the yoga tradition, slaying demons while appearing peaceful and perfectly-dressed. Kali is the most ferocious of goddesses, wild, untamed, and terrifying. Together, they represent different parts of who we are. In our yoga practice, as in our lives, we balance ferocity and grace, force with compassion. We will explore what it means to find their qualities within us through a strong asana practice combined with the major myths, mantras, and mudras of these two great goddesses. Men are encouraged to attend as well!
